10/27/08 "My workouts consisted of mostly running before I started training with Austin Boxing Babes. I knew that I needed to find a way to tone up and work the rest of my body so I gave boxing a try. Hey, I can actually do a push-up now! It’s much more fun than working out by myself at the gym, and I like that I’m able to get both cardiac and strength training in every class. 5/8/08 "I had never taken a boxing class before but I was extremely excited when I found out about this one. I can honestly say it has already changed me for the better. I've lost 13 pounds since starting the class and my overall mood has drastically improved. Julia is a very excellent teacher who is patient and also teaches in a style that allows you to learn how to box even if you have no previous experience. The small class sizes allow you to have plenty of individual instruction and the girls in the class are really nice people. I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to either try something new, improve their overall health, learn how to box or just have fun. Or all of the above!" Ruthie J
